OMG I did not recognize Bob Montgomery. Great find there! Archibald Leesh looks barely recognizble too.
Great list. IMHO, Orson Wells was a ham actor but a brilliant filmaker.(You cant have everything Orson! You have to make sacrifices like Clint Eastwood does and give the lead to someone else!)

Richard Barthelmess was instrumental in the developement of the ealry talkies so I simply had to have him on a list like this.
Robert Montgomery sure looks different in color. I wasn't sure of his eye-color maybe I got it totally wrong.

As you surely have spotted I'm trying to keep my list in line with my blog. That explains the frightfully young Archie Leach and Jimmy Stewart, years before their prime.
Orson didn't make any films until 1940 but he was such a genius he simply had to be on it. To call him a "hammy actor" is unfair.

I didn't mean to offend you with my Orson Wells comment, but that was just my opinion.
And I think it is so cool that you tried to get pictures from that early 1930's period. I love details like that; I wasen't quick enough to catch it.
I guess after seeing Spencer Tracy I just mistakenly assumed the list had something to do with acting.
